Even though it's not perfect I've decided to make the switch anyway and allow my fans to see the work in progress and encourage me as I go! So this was shoot #2 with this awesome and "crazy" family! I can say that because I'm the proud Auntie Elle to my 4 nieces and nephew! I love them, but yes they are crazy! ha ha! We had a blast and created memories I'm sure we shall never forget! These kids are so talented and have so many personalities it was hard to contain them and capture all of them! We went to the University of New Mexico campus and got some fun shots! These were taken Thanksgiving weekend but held out posting due to Christmas! I've been given the "go ahead" Enjoy! Meet, Cristina, Brandon, Allora, Madilynn, Donovan, and baby Aiden! This was such a fun shoot! Can you believe Cristina is the mom! She is stunning and of course she had stunning children! They wanted a more urban feel so we went down to Tempe Town Lakes and Mill Ave. Its been quite some time since I've been to this location and what a gorgeous 70 degree evening! I just loved it! I couldn't wait to get home and edit this one! There is such natural beauty in this family! They were all naturals and the camera just loved them! Thanks guys for such an amazing shoot and being great sports!

Sarah Palin-Going Rogue-Tempe, AZ Book Signing

All I have to say is this is ONE classy lady! She is beautiful and very charming and has such a warm personality! She is very down-to-earth too! What an honor to have met her! She said to me "wow you are very beautiful!" to which I told her she was the beautiful one! If I didn't love her already I sure do now, just for saying that! :) Before I met her I was speaking to Jason(whom sat by her side while signing and whom also told me I have to read her book to find out who he is exactly!, he told me "oh Sarah is just going to love your hair!" He sure made me smile! And to make her laugh I told her "I just have to say I just loved you on SNL" she did laugh! It was a fun moment between us! My new friend Gordon James, a local public relations guy, allowed me to stay inside the roped off area for about 10 to 15 mins! What a great guy! Thanks Gordon! You're amazing! I was very impressed with Sarah's team of people! They were all so nice to me! And Costco employees did a stellar job pulling off such an amazing event! She signed 1,070 books total! You bet your boots I got mine! I have to read it to find out who Jason is! He sure was so nice! Here are just a few of the hundreds of shots I got today! I sure can't wait to see the ones of me that her personal photographer, Shealah Craighead, got of us while she was signing the book! Today was one very memorable day!

Here is a preview of the cutest family ever! My sister's family! Meet: Brandon, Gretchen, Logan, Dana, Maggie, Faith, and newborn Lily. These are their formal portraits we did at the Albuquerque, New Mexico LDS Temple. Baby Lily is 5 wks old! Her first photoshoot with the family! Note to self *don't do a photoshoot with 5 kids and NO bathroom on site! I thought I had all my bases covered too! Dang. I even brought the homemade cookies I made for bribing purposes! ;)All the other portraits are amazing but as we know all it takes is one to "spoil" the shot! My sweet niece Dana was doing "the potty dance" and sure...it makes for funny pics but not for nice formals with the Temple in the background! :) Oh well. I like my portraits to tell stories and show emotion and all the others most certainly do just that! We're doing another urban casual shoot on Wed! I'm sure there are PLENTY of bathrooms on campus where we're going! I love you guys! You all look so good! Shout out to my sister! She looks fabulous after count them, 4 kids and a newborn!

It was a beautiful overcast day! We got some great shots! We were more prepared this time with treats, suckers, and Pepsi to bribe the kids into smiling! Ahh the "art of child photography" :)

Ok so it wasn't a "perfect shoot" but I just love this family! They are perfect! They are like family to me already! They are just so stinking cute and sassy and have great style! I just LOVE the colors that were chosen. They were perfect for this time of year! Too bad we ran out of light fast, had a gloomy sky, and the baby wouldn't cooperate longer than the first 5 mins (it's to be expected), but all in all we got some good shots! Good thing we planned on doing 2 locations. Can't wait for the next shoot with these guys so I can finish with my "visions"

On my never ending quest to becoming an amazing wedding photographer I got to "play with the "big dogs" at the Sanctuary Resort on Oct 18th! Thanks to the amazing One Fine Day Photography company who is the preferred wedding photographer company for almost all the major wedding destinations/reception halls in AZ, I was able to have a lot of fun and learn a thing or two along the way. I was quite humbled by the photographers Doug Williams and Jim Baker and their gear and skill level! They are amazing! It's a good thing I love to be "stretched" for that's when learning really begins! I've been shooting weddings on and off for almost 4 yrs now. There is always something to learn, become better at, and something new to try. These photographers have been shooting for YRS longer and still try new things and learn too! Fun with Photoshop! This is a church by Goldfield Ghost Mine in AZ! I saw this church on the way back from a shoot there and just had to pull over to get the shot! I recently came across this "lost" photo and had fun with some new textures and actions!

It's amazing what a little retouching can do to change the entire feel! Love it!

I recently came across some fun photography work I did of my family back when I was in High School. My goal is to restore them as they are now 16 yrs old!

This is one of my baby brothers, Taylor. He is now turning 17 yrs old August 22nd! I can't believe how times flies! I blinked and they grew up! He's now almost 6'3" This was taken in 1993 back in the good old film days. I took a picture of the print and did some work in PhotoShop to restore the image and added some texture for fun.

I adore this shot! Makes me a little teary-eyed.
